Managing Private Offers

Use Publisher to create, review, and send private offers to customers.

The Private Offers feature of Publisher enables a publisher to create a customized offer for a customer. Publishers can use this feature to perform the following actions:

  • Enable their listings so that customer can contact the publisher to initiate a private offer.
  • Create private offers for one or more a new or an existing listings, with a customized pricing and terms.
  • Review and send a private offer to a customer.
  • Withdraw a private offer that a customer hasn’t accepted.
    Note

    A publisher can’t cancel a private offer after the customer accepts it.

When a publisher creates a private offer for a customer, the publisher must perform the following actions:

  • Customize the private offer pricing with an entitled quantity and terms of the listings purchased under the private offer and add a one-time charge against the customer's Oracle Cloud Universal Credits for the contract.
  • Specify the contract duration of the private offer usage entitlement.
  • Attach governing and informational documents for the private offer contract.

Private offers allow upto one year plus 10 days (375 days) for the total length of the contract during the pilot period, and all the price values must be a minimum of 50,000 USD or equivalent in other supported currencies.

Note

The Private Offers feature is currently in the pilot phase. Publishers first need to be approved by the program to enable their listings for private offers.
