Monitored tenancy status not updated on policy validation failure

Tenancy shows as active if the authorization policy isn't applied or is removed.

Details

As part of setting up a Resource Analytics instance, it's expected you add an authorization policy to all tenancies that are to be monitored. For LA, if you remove or fail to apply the policy, the Console still show the tenancy in Active state upon successful addition of tenancy. This might cause a failure in actual monitoring or the flow of the data for the monitored tenancy without a visible notification on the cloud Console.

Workaround

This triggers an incident on service side that results in a customer reach-out by the service team to remedy the policy.
