Setting a Resource as Source or Destination for Path Analysis

Set a protected resource as a source or destination for use in the Network Path Analyzer tool.

Familiarize yourself with the Network Path Analyzer tool, which helps you identify configuration issues that impact connectivity.

  1. On the Protected Resources list page, find the resource that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Protected Resources.

    You can filter by compartment, security attribute namespace, and resource type to narrow the list of resources.

  2. From the Actions menu (three dots) for the resource, select either Create as source in path analysis or Create as destination in path analysis, depending on how you want to use the resource in the path analysis.
  3. Follow the steps in Creating a Network Path Analysis test to complete the analysis.
