Perform APM Dotnet Agent Prerequisite Tasks

As a first step towards provisioning and deploying an APM Dotnet agent, you must ensure that you've reviewed the requirements listed in this section and performed the prerequisite tasks:

  • Your applications run on .NET framework 4.6.2 or higher, or .NET 6 or higher.

  • Your applications run on Windows or Linux servers.

    • Windows Server supported versions: 2012r2, 2016, 2019 and 2022.

  • Plan for 200 MB of disk space for each agent. (This includes disk space allocated for agent log files).

  • Complete the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure prerequisites and APM domain creation. For details, see Perform Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Prerequisites.

Once completed, you can proceed with the next step: Download the APM Dotnet Agent Software or use the Install APM agent wizard for assistance with downloading, provisioning and deploying the APM agent​. You can find the wizard at the top of the Download APM agents page.
