View Network Information on the OCI Console
On the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Console you can view the network information for your Autonomous AI Database.
The network information on the OCI Console includes the access type, the availability domain, and other network configuration information for your database.

| Access control list | This field shows if Access Control Lists (ACLs) of an Autonomous AI Database Instance are defined. It can display the following two values:

| Availability domain | The Availability Domain field displays the availability domain of your Autonomous AI Database instance. See Regions and Availability Domains for more information on Availability Domains. |
| Availability domain (local peer) | If there is a local peer database, Autonomous Data Guard standby, this field shows the local standby's availability domain. For example, the following shows the network information with the Autonomous AI Database instance availability domain and the availability domain for the local Autonomous Data Guard standby: You can also view information on Autonomous Data Guard with Local Standby. |
The following fields are shown when the Autonomous AI Database is configured with a private endpoint.

| Public access | This field shows if public access for an Autonomous AI Database Instance on a Private Endpoint is enabled. This field can display the following two values:

| Virtual cloud network | The Virtual Cloud Network field specifies the VCN for use with an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Service Gateway. This field includes a link for the VCN associated with the private endpoint. |
| Subnet | The Subnet field includes a link for the subnet associated with the private endpoint. See VCN and Subnet Management for more information. |
| Public Endpoint URL | This field shows the public endpoint URL for the resource when public access is enabled. |
| Private endpoint IP | This field displays the private endpoint IP address for the resource. |
| Private endpoint URL | This field displays the private endpoint URL for the resource. |
| Network Security Group | Shows a Network Security Group (NSG) within your VCN. The NSG specifies rules for connections to your Autonomous AI Database. You can define security rules in an NSG to allow connections to the Autonomous AI Database instance which creates a virtual firewall for your Autonomous AI Database. See Network Security Groups for more information. |
Change Availability Domain on the OCI Console
You can change the availability domain of an existing Autonomous AI Database instance to place it in the same availability domain as other Oracle Cloud Infrastructure resources, such as your compute VMs, to minimize network latency.
To move your existing Autonomous AI Database instance to a different availability domain in a given region and schedule when the move occurs:

Open the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Console by clicking the icon next to Cloud.

From the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure left navigation menu, click Oracle AI Database, and then click Autonomous AI Database.

On the Autonomous AI Database page, select your Autonomous AI Database from the links under the Display name column.

On the Autonomous AI Database Details page, under Network, in the Availability domain field, click Edit.
This shows the Change Availability Domain panel.

Under Availability Domain, select the target availability domain from the available availability domain cards.
Each card displays the availability domain name and identifier.

In the Schedule change section, choose when the availability domain change should occur:
- Earliest available schedule: Changes the availability domain at the earliest available date and time. Oracle automatically chooses the earliest available date and time for the change, depending on the size of your database. This option incurs no additional charges.
- Future schedule: Select a date and time no later than 30 days from the current date. This option might incur an additional cost. See Oracle Autonomous AI Database Serverless Features Billing for more information.

Use the Date, Hour, and Minute fields to schedule the availability domain change.

Click Update to apply the schedule.
The database state changes to Updating. After the change to a different availability domain is successfully scheduled, the Autonomous AI Database state changes to Available.
An icon with three horizontal dots appears beside the Availability domain field and displays the Reschedule and Cancel links, which allow you to reschedule or cancel the scheduled availability domain change.
Note
Note: You can reschedule the availability domain change only for a date later than the current planned schedule.
On the scheduled day and time, the database undergoes a brief service interruption lasting up to 15 minutes.
Notes for changing the availability domain:

Changing the availability domain is not available for the following:
- Always Free Autonomous AI Database
- Autonomous AI Database for Developers instances
- Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Database@Azure
- Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Database@Google Cloud

You cannot change the availability domain of a cross-region standby until a role change happens via a switchover or failover. See Autonomous Data Guard Switchover and Failover Operations for more information.

Changing the availability domain is available only for ECPU-based Autonomous AI Database instances and supports all workload types.
