Guest Operating System Matrix
This topic provides an overview of guest operating systems that can be deployed in Compute Cloud@Customer Isolated compute instances. It also indicates the OS delivery type and testing status.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure compute images of Oracle Linux and Oracle Solaris are provided as part of the infrastructure software, and new image versions are added through upgrades.
Compute Cloud@Customer Isolated supports other guest operating systems, which you can add to your infrastructure environment as custom images. Several guest operating systems are part of Oracle testing and are known to work in Compute Cloud@Customer Isolated compute instances. The table below provides an overview.
