Schedule Crypto Posture Assessments
Whenever you register a target database, Oracle Data Safe automatically creates a monthly schedule to refresh the latest crypto posture assessment. It also creates a saved copy of the assessment in the Assessment History. You can change a schedule’s frequency, start or stop a schedule, and rename a schedule. The schedule is available in the same compartment as the target database.
For existing target databases, Oracle Data Safe creates crypto posture assessments through a backfill process with an initial Failed state. This indicates that the assessment has not yet run, not that its execution failed. Crypto posture assessments are scheduled to run at staggered intervals over a month. Once an assessment runs successfully, its state changes to Active. For newly registered target databases, a crypto posture assessment runs during registration.
