Deleting an assessment

Before you delete an assessment, ensure that you carefully review any resources that reference the migration. If not, you could encounter errors.

1. In the list of assessments on the Assessment page, select Delete from the Actions (three dots) menu of the assessment you want to delete.
   You can also click Delete from the More Actions menu on the Assessment Details page.
2. In the Delete assessment UI, following are the scenarios:
   • When an assessment has no migration, then you can delete the assessment.
   • When an assessment has a migration, and if you try to delete the assessment, the following message is displayed: You cannot delete this assessment as there is already an associated migration. Navigate to the migration screen and delete the migration first.
3. In the Migration deletion UI, you can delete a migration when they have a certain status. For example, if the migration is in production and if it is succeeded, then the following message is displayed informing you that the attached assessment will also be deleted: If you delete this migration, the associated assessment will also be deleted. Are you sure you want to proceed?
4. In the Delete dialog, click Delete.
