Allow Users to Enable and Use LoganAI
Provide the following IAM policies to perform the LoganAI operations:
-
IAM Policies for Enabling LoganAI:
You must be a member of the Administrators group to be able to enable LoganAI feature in Oracle Log Analytics. See The Administrators Group, Policy, and Administrator Roles.
-
IAM Policies for Using LoganAI:
The following minimum IAM policies are required for using LoganAI in Oracle Log Analytics:
allow group Log-Analytics-Users to use generative-ai-chat in compartment id <Compartment_OCID> allow group Log-Analytics-Users to read generative-ai-model in compartment id <Compartment_OCID> allow group Log-Analytics-Users to read generative-ai-endpoint in compartment id <Compartment_OCID>
Specify the compartment OCID of the compartment where the Generative AI chat, model, and endpoint are located. This compartment need not be the same compartment where the logs are located for analysis.
LoganAI uses preferences and personalization features in Oracle Log Analytics to manage the user settings. For their IAM policies, see Allow Users to Manage OCI Console Personalization in the Tenancy and Allow Users to Manage Group Preferences in Log Analytics.
