View Widgets

You can view the list of Oracle-defined and custom widgets, if any, for supported Observability & Management services.

  1. Go to the Dashboards page.
  2. On the left pane, click Widgets.
  3. Click the Compartment and other applied filters to select alternate options, if required. In addition, you can use the Search and Filter field to search for widgets or filter the widget list.
In the Search and Filter field, you can either type text to search for specific widgets or click inside the field to view and use the following filters. Note that if a filter is already added and displayed as an applied filter, it's no longer listed in the Search and Filter field.
    • Created by: Select a user name in the drop-down list to view the widgets created by the user.
    • Updated by: Select a user name in the drop-down list to view the widgets updated by the user.
    • Services: Select services in the drop-down list to view the widgets that display data for those services.
    • Tags: If a tag filter is added to the widgets, select the type of tag from the Namespace menu. Then, in the Key field, specify the value or values you want the filter to match. Finally, specify whether you want to Match any value or Specify matching values.

The Widgets page lists the Oracle-defined and custom widgets and provides easy-to-use options to manage widgets. On this page, you can:

  • Sort the list of widgets by clicking the Sort ascending or Sort descending icon (Sort ascending or descending), which is displayed when you hover the mouse over column headings.
  • Click the Manage columns icon (Manage columns) on the right to choose which columns are shown or hidden on the page.
  • Click the name of the widget to view the widget. In the widget panel, input parameters are listed as filters and you can change the values to modify the data displayed in the widget. For example, if viewing the Database Management CPU utilization - fleet (%) widget, you can change the compartment to view the percentage of CPU used by databases in a different compartment. In the widget panel, you can also click the Actions icon (Actions) in the upper-right corner and click Export to CSV to export widget data to a CSV file.
  • Click the Actions icon (Actions) for a custom widget and click the available options to perform tasks such as duplicating the widget, moving the widget to another compartment, or deleting the widget. For Oracle-defined widgets, only the Duplicate option is enabled in the Actions menu.
