Known Issues for OCI Utilities

These known issues have been identified in OCI Utilities.

Memory Leak Issues Reported When Running the OCID Daemon

Details
Enabling the ocid daemon service component results in high memory usage and resource consumption. The issue is linked to the specific processes that are forked by the ocid daemon service. High resource consumption can lead to various performance issues within instances. The cause of the issue is under investigation.
Workaround
To resolve the issue, the ocid daemon service is disabled by default. Updating the OCI Utilities automatically stops the service and disables it until the issue is resolved.
