Deleting a Public Safety and Security Instance

Delete a Public Safety and Security instance that is no longer required.

Stop dependent use of the instance endpoints and preserve any customer data that must be retained.

1. Open the Navigation menu, select Oracle Public Safety and Security, and then under Public Safety and Security, select Instances.
2. Select the compartment, and then select the instance that you want to delete.
3. Start the delete action and confirm the instance.
4. Note the returned work request and monitor it until deletion succeeds or reports an error.
The instance progresses through DELETING to DELETED.
Use the following command to delete a Public Safety and Security instance.
```
oci pss instance delete --instance-id <instance-OCID>
```
