Improve Iceberg External Table Query Performance with Partition Pruning

Autonomous AI Database can now use Apache Iceberg partition information to optimize queries on Iceberg external tables. Autonomous AI Database uses the Iceberg metadata to skip files that are not needed for a query. This helps reduce object storage access and can improve performance for large lakehouse tables, while allowing applications to continue using regular SQL on the original table columns.
