Big Data Service 3.0.28 has added additional features

Big Data Service 3.0.28 release has the following new features implemented:

  • Vertical and horizontal autoscale performance metrics now includes memory utilization.

  • Ranger authorization for Schema Registry.

  • For existing Kafka profile clusters, the public group is removed from default Kafka Ranger policies to restrict anonymous user access.

Bug fixes include:

  • BDSCustomAuthenticator issues during multi-threaded concurrency in HDFS connector.
  • Deprecated use of openjdk in ODH images.
