HA Availability Domain and Fault Domain Aware Shard Placement

OCI Search with OpenSearch now supports Availability Domain (AD) and Fault Domain (FD) aware shard placement to improve cluster resilience and availability.

Search with OpenSearch automatically distributes shard primary and replicas across nodes in different ADs and FDs. This helps reduce the risk of correlated failures by keeping multiple copies of the same shard separated across OCI infrastructure boundaries, improving resiliency and availability for production workloads.
