oci_iot_iot_domain_group
This resource provides the Iot Domain Group resource in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Iot service. Api doc link for the resource: https://docs.oracle.com/iaas/api/#/en/
Example terraform configs related to the resource : https://github.com/oracle/terraform-provider-oci/tree/master/examples/
Creates a new IoT domain group.
Example Usage
resource "oci_iot_iot_domain_group" "test_iot_domain_group" {
#Required
compartment_id = var.compartment_id
#Optional
defined_tags = {"Operations.CostCenter"= "42"}
description = var.iot_domain_group_description
display_name = var.iot_domain_group_display_name
freeform_tags = {"Department"= "Finance"}
type = var.iot_domain_group_type
}
Argument Reference
The following arguments are supported:
compartment_id- (Required) (Updatable) The OCID of the compartment corresponding to the resource.defined_tags- (Optional) (Updatable) Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags. Example:{"Operations.CostCenter": "42"}description- (Optional) (Updatable) A short description of the resource.display_name- (Optional) (Updatable) A user-friendly name. Does not have to be unique, and it’s changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.freeform_tags- (Optional) (Updatable) Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair with no predefined name, type, or namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags. Example:{"Department": "Finance"}type- (Optional) Type of domain group. DEVELOPMENT uses fewer resources and has a higher Recovery Time Objective (RTO), making it suitable for development and testing. PRODUCTION is recommended for production workloads. LIGHTWEIGHT and STANDARD are deprecated aliases for DEVELOPMENT and PRODUCTION respectively and will be removed in a future release.
** IMPORTANT ** Any change to a property that does not support update will force the destruction and recreation of the resource with the new property values
Attributes Reference
The following attributes are exported:
compartment_id- The OCID of the compartment corresponding to the resource.data_host- The host name of the database corresponding to the IoT Domain group.db_allow_listed_vcn_ids- This is an array of VCN OCID (virtual cloud network Oracle Cloud ID) that is allowed to connect the data host.db_connection_string- The connection string used to connect to the data host associated with the IoT domain group.db_token_scope- The token scope used to connect to the data host associated with the IoT domain group.defined_tags- Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags. Example:{"Operations.CostCenter": "42"}description- A short description of the resource.display_name- A user-friendly name. Does not have to be unique, and it’s changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.freeform_tags- Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair with no predefined name, type, or namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags. Example:{"Department": "Finance"}id- The OCID of the resource.state- The current state of an IoT Domain Group.system_tags- System tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. Example:{"orcl-cloud.free-tier-retained": "true"}time_created- The date and time when the resource was created, in the format defined by RFC 3339. Example:2016-08-25T21:10:29.600Ztime_updated- The date and time when the resource was last updated, in the format defined by RFC 3339. Example:2016-08-25T21:10:29.600Ztype- Type of domain group.
Timeouts
The timeouts block allows you to specify timeouts for certain operations:
* create - (Defaults to 20 minutes), when creating the Iot Domain Group
* update - (Defaults to 20 minutes), when updating the Iot Domain Group
* delete - (Defaults to 20 minutes), when destroying the Iot Domain Group
Import
IotDomainGroups can be imported using the id, e.g.
$ terraform import oci_iot_iot_domain_group.test_iot_domain_group "id"
