Description of Security panel in Tenant Settings window

Use the settings in the Security panel to ensure that all applications created in the instance are secure and only accessible to authenticated users. By default, individual applications can be configured to allow access to anonymous users. When the Allow only secure applications to be created option is enabled, the anonymous user access option is disabled for all applications created in the instance and only authenticated users can access staged and published applications. When the option is enabled, administrators can enable an option requiring users to have the Visual Builder Service User role to access staged and published applications.

The panel contains the following options and fields.

  • "Allow only secure applications to be created" option
  • "Only Visual Builder Users can access secure applications" option
  • "Allow access to application to user in role" dropdown list of IDCS roles
  • No Visual Builder textfield for specifying the redirect URL when access is denied
  • Access Denied Message text field for specifying the message that is displayed when access is denied

In this screenshot of the panel, the "Allow access to application to user in role" dropdown list is displayed because the two security options are enabled.
