Back Up the ODI Repository

Before you upgrade, back up the ODI Repository of Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3.

Use the Oracle Database Export and Import utilities to export the ODI Repository of Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 from the existing schema and import it to another schema.

By retaining the ODI Repository of Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3, you can connect to the ODI Repository of Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 whenever required. You need to create a connection in ODI to the backup of ODI Repository of Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 that is now in a new database schema.
