View Oracle Guided Learning Content in EBS
You can display user guidance content from Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) in Oracle Application Framework-based UIs within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). OGL is an Enterprise cloud platform that provides users with just-in-time, step-by-step guidance as they enter data into an application. It is a modern alternative to Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK). The guidance made available from OGL can speed user adoption of a new product, new process, or new release. It is also helpful for infrequent users, or users performing complex tasks.
Starting with EBS Release 12.2.14, you can develop content in OGL and configure it for context-sensitive display in Oracle Application Framework-based pages in EBS. When an OGL guide is activated for an EBS page, the OGL widget signals to users that they can access the corresponding OGL content.
EBS relays the following details to OGL as user-specific fields: EBS user, function ID, responsibility ID, and function name. When you configure the activation conditions for your OGL content, you can reference these user-specific fields to identify the EBS page to which your content pertains. You can specify additional activation conditions based on standard settings supported by OGL, such as URL parameters or session variables.
Steps to enable and configure
