This release extends versioning, review, approval, schedule generation, and report capabilities to equipment leases. Equipment lease versioning begins from the first amendment performed on an active equipment lease.
Steps to enable and configure
- Apply the Property Manager update that delivers Equipment Lease: Lease History Tracing.
- Review related system options, profile options, responsibilities, and operating unit transition status for the leases in scope.
- Process representative leases or amendments through schedule generation, validation, accounting, reporting, and activation steps.
- Confirm payment schedules, ROU asset balances, lease liability balances, audit history, and reports with lease accounting users.
Tips and considerations
- Use leases with more than one amendment when validating version history and report output.
- Test equipment lease behavior separately from property lease behavior, especially for amendments and versioning.
- Capture setup, lease transaction, schedule, accounting, and report views for rollout training where applicable.
