Manufacturing Routing Explorer

You can now use the Routing Explorer dashboard to explore manufacturing routing definitions graphically and support routing changes. You can view network diagram that represent routing headers, routing operations, person and machine resources, and alternate resources.

Routing Explorer Dashboard

Prior to this release, the Bills of Material Command Center did not provide this routing explorer capability for visual routing definition analysis. As manufacturing engineers and managers you can use Routing Explorer dashboard to locate standard operations and resource where-used information across routings, perform routing change impact analysis, and review routing changes visually before approving manufacturing change orders.

Use the Routings Explorer dashboard to:

  • Visualize manufacturing routing definitions graphically for routing headers, routing operations, person and machine resources, and alternate resources in a network diagram.
  • Use the network diagram to locate standard operations and resource where used across routings to perform routing change impact analysis.
  • Managers can review routing changes visually before approving manufacturing change orders.
  • Visualize complete routing definitions including current and future routing changes.

Steps to enable and configure

Ensure Oracle Enterprise Command Center Framework Release 12.2 V14 or later is available for this functionality and complete the following setups to enable the Bills of Materials Command Center:

  • Use the Routing Explorer dashboard when routing impact analysis depends on operations, resources, alternate resources, or where-used context.
  • Review current and future routing changes in the explorer before approving manufacturing change orders.
