Specify Supplier for Outside Processing Requisitions

You can use a custom hook to assign supplier and supplier sites to outside processing (OSP) requisitions and then send partially finished assemblies for outside processing. 

You can create a discrete job with purchase order move resources, release the discrete job, and after performing the OSP move transactions, run the Req Import concurrent program.

Prior to this release, outside processing requisitions with a single supplier were derived automatically, often requiring manual changes in the purchase order if different suppliers were needed.

Specifying a particular supplier for a requisition to send partially finished assemblies for outside processing, ensures precision and control in supplier selection during the requisition process.

• Specify a supplier and supplier site different from default supplier and supplier site in purchase requisition.
• Select a different supplier and supplier site based on the following:
  • A value in a descriptive flexfield.
