Record Business-Specific Attributes in Agreements
Oracle Project Billing lets you add additional business-specific attributes during an agreement creation. You can include attribute types such as text, numbers, amounts, dates, and custom list of values as provided by the User Defined Attributes (UDA) framework of Oracle Applications. This capability allows you to define and associate custom attribute groups with specific agreement types, enabling the capture of critical business data directly within the agreement framework. You can now define display names for agreement types, select the sequence of attribute groups for particular page regions, and apply these groups to specific regions, ensuring that the information is organized and accessible as needed.
These attributes help in detailing the scope of work and resource commitments to specifying payment milestones and performance metrics. These additional attributes provide approvers with a clear understanding of the agreement's context and expectations during the approval process. Implementation considerations include defining the attribute groups and ensuring they align with existing agreement types and page regions for seamless integration into current processes.

Steps to enable and configure
1. Define the display name against the agreement type to ensure clear identification.
2. Select the sequence of attribute groups for a particular page region to organize the data presentation.
3. Apply the defined attribute groups to the relevant page region within the agreement setup.
4. Ensure each agreement type has associated attribute groups to enable the easy recording of additional attributes.
Note: Only one page region is allowed for each agreement type.
Tips and considerations
- Ensure attribute groups are clearly defined to avoid overlap or confusion.
- Regularly review the sequence of attribute groups to optimize the user experience in accessing critical data within the page regions.
- Oracle recommends only one page region per agreement type when planning to prioritize the most essential attributes.
