Accessing Modules From the Navigate Menu in EPM Workspace

In Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Workspace, you can access several modules from the Navigate menu.

  • Applications—Access Oracle Business Intelligence applications and the catalog. Applications is only displayed when a user has rights and applications are available.
  • Administer—Manage Workspace Server Settings, Annotations, BI Presentation Services, and Oracle Hyperion Calculation Manager.
  • Schedule—Schedule batches and events for Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting artifacts and automated processing.
  • Open Items—Dasy access to artifacts that you currently have open in EPM Workspace.

Menus and toolbar buttons are updated based on the following criteria:

  • The roles granted you by the administrator. Permissions determine which modules are displayed in the View pane and toolbar.
  • The products being used and the task being performed. For example, if you use an Administer menu item, the menus and toolbar icons contain tasks associated with the catalog related tasks.
