Creating a Book

To create a book:

1. From Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Workspace with the BI Catalog open, select File, then New, and then Book.
2. On the New Book tab, under Add Document, select reports and other artifacts to include in the book, and then click Add.
3. Optional: To add or change members selections for the book point of view, click a POV at the top of the New Book tab to open the Preview dialog box for that point of view.

   In the following example, you could edit the members for the "AccountingPeriod" and "Currency" Points of View:

   

4. Under Heading Text, enter the heading text that will be displayed at the top of the book next to the Table of Contents, and then click Add.
5. Under URL, enter any desired URLs, and then click Add.

6. Click the drop-down next to Add Document, and then select Book Setup.
7. Under General, enter information about general book properties.

8. Under Table of Contents, enter information about the book's table of contents.

9. Select File, and then Save to save the book with a name, description, and Mime Type of "Financial Reporting Book".
