Using Substitution Parameters

Substitution parameters can be defined for an import profile to pass in user-defined values to the import process at runtime. The following import options allow the use of substitution parameters:

  • Orphan Hierarchy Name

  • Orphan Hierarchy Description

  • Orphan Hierarchy Top Node Name

  • Orphan Hierarchy Top Node Description

  • Orphan Hierarchy Unique Name Prefix

  • Skip Nodes During Import

Substitution parameter formatting is <%ParamKey%>, where <% and %> denote a substitution parameter and ParamKey is the name of the parameter to be used for substitution. For example, <%TopNode%>.
