Viewing Relationships

Use the options on the Related menu of the Tree toolbar to view different types of relationships for a selected node to other hierarchy nodes. Nodes matching the type of relationship selected are displayed on the Relationships tab.

  • Descendants––View the descendants of the selected node.

  • Children––View the children of the selected node.

  • Ancestors––View the ancestors of the selected node.

  • Siblings––View the siblings of the selected node.

  • Links––View all hierarchies in the version in which the selected node exists.

  • Locate––Locates the selected node in all open hierarchy tabs.

  • Match––Locates nodes with a matching property value in all open hierarchy tabs.

    Note:

    To perform the match, the value for the Default Match By hierarchy property must be populated or you can use a User Match By property by selecting Options, Match By, and then User Property.
