Executing the Batch Script for Metadata Rules

To run the metadata load rule batch script with a plain text password:

  1. Display a Windows command window or UNIX shell.

  2. At a Windows command window or UNIX shell, paste and run the following command: loadmetadata USER PASSWORD LOCATION_NAME SYNC_MODE

To run the metadata load rule batch script with a password from a file:

  1. Display a Windows command window or UNIX shell.

  2. At a Windows command window or UNIX shell, paste and run the following command: loadmetadata USER -f:PASSWORD_FILE LOCATION_NAME SYNC_MODE
