Closing and Locking Periods

Closing a period prevents new reconciliations from being started but allows reconciliations that are in progress to be completed. Locking a period prevents changes to reconciliations for the period.

To close periods:

  1. Select Manage, and then Periods.

  2. Select a period.

  3. Click Actions, then Set Status, and then Close.

To lock periods:

  1. Select Manage, and then Periods.

  2. Select a period.

  3. Select Actions, then Set Status, and then Lock.
