Enabling Currencies and Creating Currency Rate Types

In order to perform currency translation, you start by enabling currencies and creating currency rate types.Both these tasks are performed in System Settings.

Enabling Currencies

The first step in currency translation is to enable currencies:

1. In Manage, select System Settings, then Currencies. The seeded currencies display.
2. Select each currency and select Enable.

   Note:

   You must select at least two currencies. If a currency is in use, you cannot disable it.

Creating Currency Rate Types

The currency rate type is a container for the currency exchange rates.

1. In Manage, select System Settings, then Currency Rate Types.
2. Click Add and then fill in the name and description and select Save.

   Note:

   The currency rate type name cannot be modified once in use.
