GetCellType

Gets the cell type. This function can be used in these types of rules:

• Calculation

• Translation

• Consolidation

• Allocation

  Note:

  Account types use all capital letters.

Syntax

HS.GetCellType("POVExpression")

where POVExpression is a valid point of view.

Return Value

The type for the specified cell.

Valid types are:

• ASSET

• LIABILITY

• REVENUE

• EXPENSE

• FLOW

• BALANCE

• BALANCERECURRING

• CURRENCYRATE

• GROUPLABEL

Example

This example checks to see if the cell type is EXPENSE. If it is, then statements between the If...Then and End If statements are executed.
