Verifying the IIS Installation

This section explains how to verify IIS installation and confirm web server readiness by checking required components and default ports 80 (HTTP) and 443 (SSL).

To verify the IIS installation, ensure that the IIS services are running:

• IIS Admin Service

• World Wide Web Publishing Service

If you do not see the services for IIS, ensure that IIS is installed.
