The infrastructure provides a reference architecture to help run Oracle Enterprise Performance Management applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud Compute Engine VMs with low-latency connectivity to Oracle Database@Azure (Oracle Exadata Databases service that runs within Microsoft Azure Cloud).

Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) enables organizations to adapt quickly to changing business and compliance requirements while reducing risk, improving controls, and delivering faster, more accurate insights to all stakeholders—anytime, anywhere.

The intended audience for this document includes cloud architects, infrastructure administrators, and Oracle EPM administrators responsible for designing, deploying, and operating Hyperion environments. This document assumes familiarity with Oracle Hyperion applications, Oracle Databases, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
