Installing Smart View

Oracle Smart View for Office must be installed on a machine that already has Microsoft Office 32-bit or Office 64-bit and .NET Framework installed.

To install Smart View on a client machine:

1. Close all Microsoft Office applications.
2. Browse to the shared drive location where you downloaded files, and then double-click SmartView.exe to start the installation wizard.
3. Select a destination folder for Smart View, and then click OK.
4. When installation is complete, click OK.

After you complete the installation, Smart View is available as a menu item in Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Excel.
