About Using Smart View to Import and Edit Planning Metadata

Administrators can use the Oracle Hyperion Planning Admin Extension with Oracle Smart View for Office to quickly import and edit dimension and member metadata.

Note:

  • You must have Administrator privileges to import and edit dimension in Oracle Smart View for Office.
  • All procedures described in this appendix are performed within Smart View using the Planning Admin Extension. To work with this feature, install the Planning Admin Extension. To install the Planning Admin Extension, see Installing "EPM System Clients from EPM Workspace" in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Installation and Configuration Guide.
