Working with Task List Folders

To create, rename, move, or delete task list folders:

  1. Open the Manage Task Lists page.
  2. In the Task List Folders area, perform a task:
    • To create a task list folder, select the folder in which to create the task list folder, and then click Create. Enter the name of the task list.

    • To rename a task list folder, select the folder to rename, then select Actions, and then select Rename. Enter the new name.

    • To move a task list folder, select the folder to move, then above the Task List Folders area, click Move. Select the destination folder.

    • To delete a task list folder, select an empty folder to delete, and then click Delete.

    Note:

    You cannot move or delete the Task Lists folder. If you try to delete a folder containing additional folders, an error message is displayed.

  3. Click OK.
