About Zooming In and Out

Cloud data source types: Oracle Analytics Cloud - Essbase, Planning, Narrative Reporting, Financial Consolidation and Close, Tax Reporting

On-premises data source types: Oracle Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle Hyperion Planning

You can zoom in on members in the grid to display data for their children and descendents.

Note:

Zoom In and Zoom Out operations are not supported in these cases:

On member formula cells when connected to an aggregate storage database.

Zoom operations on member formula cells are supported only when connected to a block storage database.
On views inserted from Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition or Oracle Analytics Cloud data sources.

In Essbase and Oracle Analytics Cloud - Essbase connections, you can also zoom to display data for the following:

Members of the same level, same generation, or sibling level as the selected member
Members that are defined by the formula of the selected member when connected to block storage databases
