Copying Shared Table Auditing to Different Path Code

After you have advanced the project to 26 status that contains the audit tables, you must copy the audit table from DV path code to PD path code in the CFR environment.
Note: When auditing is enabled on a specific path code (Ex: DV920) for a table (Ex: F0101), the audit setup must be copied at table level to all environments that share the same path code (DV920). It is not advised/possible to map the same table to a different data source and then enabling auditing again for a different environment.

Sign in to PD CFR Environment and access P9500001.

  1. Click Table Setup from the Form menu.
  2. On the Work with Audit Table Configurations form, from the Form menu, select Copy Audit Table.
  3. On the Copy Audit Table Information form, find and select the table to be copied.
  4. Verify that the selected audit table is in the configuration tree.

    The copied audit tables are in disabled status. You must check in the table and enable auditing.

  5. On Work with Audit Table Configurations form, click Check In Table from the Row menu.
  6. After the audit table is checked in, click Enable DB Auditing from the Row menu.

Repeat the steps for all the path codes and all the environments configured. If auditing is not enabled for all the environments, the audit information will not include a GUID.
