Scheduling Jobs Using the Web Client (Release 9.2.26.0)

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.26.0, you can configure, maintain, and monitor scheduled jobs over the web client. The Work With Scheduled Jobs program (P91300W) is the web version that provides the same functionalities as the Windows development client version, enabling you to manage all tasks related to the Job Scheduler without the requirement of the development client.

The P91300W program has a power form web-interface. On selecting a job in the Schedule Job List pane, the Job Details pane displays detailed information of the selected job without having to access the details from the Form menu options.
  • The Scheduled Jobs tab displays detailed information of the selected job schedule. You can view the output files directly by clicking on View Output. Click the Scheduled Job Name to access the job occurrence details in the Job Schedule form, and click the Job Number to review the submitted job in the Submitted Job Search form.
  • The Job Header tab displays the job header details. The Edit button on this tab provides access to the Schedule Information Revisions form to modify the header details.
  • The Recurrence tab shows the current recurrence settings. The Edit button on this tab provides access to the Recurring Scheduling Information Revisions form.
  • The Resubmission tab shows the current resubmission settings. The Edit button on this tab provides access to the Job resubmission setup in the Scheduling Advanced Options form.

When you add a job schedule using P91300W, the system saves the job instance records to the Job Schedule table (F91320). The scheduler kernel maintains the number of job occurrences even when the jobs are skipped, using the Scheduled Job Master table (F91300) and the Job Schedule table (F91320).
