Enabling SSL Communication between Enterprise Server and AIS Server on UNIX and Microsoft Windows (Release 9.2.8.2)

On UNIX and Windows, the HTTPS SSL communication between the Enterprise Server and AIS Server depends on having a valid cacert.pem file in your system that contains an up-to-date set of root certificates from the SSL certificate issuing authorities. Starting with 9.2.8.2, you can provide the custom certificates in the Server Manager Console. The system merges the root certificate with the custom certificate after the Change Component for the Enterprise Server.

To add your custom certificates in the Enterprise Server:

  1. Navigate to Miscellaneous under Configuration.
  2. In the Form Service Setting, add the custom certificate in the Customer PEM file certificates field.
  3. Click Apply.

The value in the field is retained by the system and is used for secure communication with the AIS server.
