Enabling the Role Chooser
To enable the Role Chooser:
On Work With Role Relationships (P95921), select Enable Role Chooser from the Form menu.
To enable users to select a role from a list of assigned roles at sign-in, on the Enable/Disable Role Chooser form, select the Choose role on Login page option.
If you do not select this option, users must enter JD Edwards EnterpriseOne using *ALL.
To enable users to filter menus by role in the EnterpriseOne Menus, select the Choose role on Menu Filtering page option.
Both the Role Chooser and Menu Filtering Role Chooser options are global settings. When enabled, they apply to all users in the system.
Security is determined by the user’s role at sign in and does not change if the user selects a different role after signing in. Changing the role after sign in only filters the navigation menu and does not affect the main page content (such as the EnterpriseOne page content), which continues to reflect the role used to sign in.
