Understanding Content Security

A Composed Page can include the following types of content:

  • One View Reports

  • Embedded EnterpriseOne forms

  • Classic EnterpriseOne pages

  • Generic URLs (content from external web sites)

  • ADF applications

  • Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition reports (requires additional license)

  • EnterpriseOne Widgets (Release 9.2.9.4)

  • Enterprise Process Pane (Release 9.2.26.0)

In addition to setting up action and view security for the Composite Page, you must set up content security to authorize users to work with the content types in the Composed Page. Content security records are created by content type for a user, role, or *PUBLIC by content type. Without content security, users who are authorized to design a Composed Page will not be able to add such content. These security settings apply to the design time.

Important:

If you modify, or delete content security, the system administrator must clear the JDBj Security Cache on Server Manager.
