Using LDAP Over SSL/TLS (Release 9.2.1)

This section provides an overview on how to enable LDAP authentication over Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS) and discusses how to:

  • Enable LDAP authentication over SSL/TLS for Windows and UNIX.

  • Enable LDAP authentication over SSL/TLS for IBM i.

Note:
  • Starting with Tools Release 9.2.8, the EnterpriseOne Server supports 2048-bit certificates for LDAP over SSL.
  • Starting with Tools Release 9.2.26.0, the EnterpriseOne Server supports 4096-bit certificates for LDAP over SSL.
