Entering Work Orders Using the Work Order Entry Programs
Access the Work Order Revisions form.
Select the Order Detail, Planning, Classification, and Accounting tabs.
(Release 9.2 Update) Based on the Estimated Hours and Estimated Downtime Hours on the Planning tab, the system automatically calculates the Planned Finish Date when you save the work order details.
The system compares the Estimated Hours and Estimated Downtime Hours, selects the greater value, and converts it into days using the workday calendar. These days are added to the Planned Start Date to determine the Planned Finish Date.
Based on the business unit, the system checks the alternate tax rate/area assignment company constant setup for the corresponding company. If the functionality is enabled, the system retrieves the alternate tax rate/area assignment based on the business unit and site countries setup. Otherwise, the system retrieves the tax rate/area from the default site setup.
For further information about alternate tax rate/area assignment functionality, please refer to "Setting Up Alternate Tax Rate/Area Assignment Functionality" in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Applications Tax Processing
Implementation Guide.
