Understanding Manual Creation of Equipment Master Records

You can create equipment records manually for those products that are not processed through sales orders.

When you create equipment records, the system creates records in these tables:

  • Asset Master File (F1201).

  • Location Tracking Table (F1204).

  • Equipment Master Extension (F1217).

  • Equipment Master Location History (F1731).

  • Status History File (F1307).

  • Parent History (F1212).

To manually create equipment master information, you use the Equipment Master Revisions form and enter information on these tabs:

  • Customer/Equipment

  • Classification 1

  • Classification 2

  • Classification 3

  • Accounting

  • Service
