Process

Period Type

Use this processing option to specify the period type the system uses to group the display of assigned hours and capacity hours for a resource. Enter a value from UDC 48/PT (Period Type). If you leave this processing option blank, the system uses Days as the period type. Values are:

Blank: Daily display of assigned hours and capacity hours for a resource.

W: Weekly display of assigned hours and capacity hours for a resource.

Number of Periods

Use this processing option to specify the number of periods that the system uses to calculate availability and assigned workloads. Periods are expressed as days or weeks, based on the value in the Period Type field. Enter a value within a range of 1 to 52.

Supply/Demand Inclusion Rule

Use this processing option to specify the supply/demand inclusion rule that the system uses to calculate availability.

For assignments at the work order level, the system determines if the assignment is included in availability calculations by using the rule in this processing option, the work order document type (DCTO), and the work order status (SRST).

For assignments at the labor detail level, the system determines if the assignment is included in availability calculations by using the rule in this processing option, the work order document type, and the operation status (OPST). If the Operation Status field is blank, the system uses the work order status.

If you leave this processing option blank, the system calculates availability by using all assignments that have been identified for inclusion.

Period to Display Prior to Start Date

This value represents the period (days or weeks) to be displayed before the start date of the earliest work order. You can reschedule the start date to one of these days. The system will calculate capacity for all the days specified here. Thus the higher the number of days, the greater will be the impact on performance.

Period to Display Prior to End Date

This value represents the period (days or weeks) to be displayed after the end date of the latest work order. You can reschedule the end date to one of these days. The system will calculate capacity for all the days specified here. Thus the higher the number of days, the greater will be the impact on performance.
