Downloading and Deploying Language Fix and Update Packages Using Change Assistant with AIS

1. On Change Assistant, click on the toolbar to deselect all packages.
2. Select one or more language fix or language update packages. The package names are in these formats:

   • Language Fixes (LNG_LF####, example JPN_LF0043)

   • Language Packages (LNG{PartNumber}_enhancement example JPN242_OTC)

3. Click Download To and Deploy and select the location. The Web Deploy Environment Selection form is displayed.
   Note: When the Application Interface Services (AIS) server is active, the downloaded packages are imported to the EnterpriseOne Software Archive Repository table (F96700R).
   Attention: In the Web Deploy Environment Selection form, note that if the package contains both language updates and software updates, the Web Deploy Environment Selection form displays selections for both types of updates.

   Language Package Options are Replace/Append

   Software Updates Options are Backup, Create OMW Project and Package Assembly, Automate Special Instructions, and Skip Spec Merge and Force Spec Merge in the grid.
4. Select Replace checkbox to replace data in the selected environment.
5. Deselect Backup.
6. Select the target environment PS920.
7. Click OK to start the download and deploy the package. The system downloads the selected language package and starts deploying it.
8. In the Change Assistant Deployment Summary form, click Show Details to view the Deployment Summary screen. When the deployment completes, the system displays the Batch Activity report.
