Understanding Deploying Software Updates Using the Web Client

Starting with Release 9.2.7.0, you can also use the JD Edwards Web Client to deploy application patches. Applying updates using the web client enables remote patch management and automation.

The web deployables are available as multi-platform (Portable Archive) package files on the Oracle JD Edwards Update Center.

Note: The self extracting ESUs that can be deployed using the Windows Deployment Server are also available on the Oracle JD Edwards Update Center.
