Adding Objects to Projects

Access Object Management Workbench - Web.

  1. In the Project grid, select the project to which you want to add objects.

The Object grid displays all of the objects that currently reside in the project you selected.

  2. Click Add Existing Objects.

  3. On Add EnterpriseOne Object, select the type of object (User Defined Object or EnterpriseOne object) that you want to add to your project.

Staring with Tools Release 9.2.7, your project can contain a mixture of UDO and non-UDO object types. If your project already contains objects, you can add same or different object types to your project. EnterpriseOne enables you to search for objects that are of the same or different type in your project.

For example, if your project already contains UDO objects, you can select UDO objects from the User Defined Object drop-down list on the Add EnterpriseOne Object to Project form. Select the non-UDO objects from the General Object drop-down list. Alternatively, you can also create OMW projects and include all of the object types in the projects.

You can use the "Search All" option from the User Defined Object drop-down list, if you know only the name of the object, and not the type of the user defined object. (Release 9.2.3)

  4. Click OK.

  5. A Search and Select form displays.

The Search and Select form that displays depends on the object type for which you are searching.

  6. Enter criteria into the search fields, and then click Find.

  7. Select the objects you want to add to your project, and then click Select.

Web OMW adds the objects to the selected project.
