Running Generate Index Using Web OMW

This section explains how to perform the Generate Index operation using the Web Object Management Workbench (Web OMW).

  1. Sign in to EnterpriseOne on the web client.
  2. Navigate to P98220W (Object Management Workbench – Web) using Fast Path.
  3. In the Object Management Workbench – Web form, enter your project name in the Query by Example (QBE) columns and click Find, then select the project.
  4. On the Project Objects tab, select the table, then click Table Operations from the More Row Actions drop-down.
  5. In the Table Operations window, select Generate Index and click OK.
  6. Select and verify the target Data Source and review the Index(es) Compare Result in the Generate Index window.
  7. The table index details are displayed using the layout JDE_Index_Detail.
  8. From the form menu, click Generate Mismatch.
    1. To generate all Indices, click Generate All from Form Menu
    2. To generate a single index, select a row and click Generate Selected from Row Menu
  9. Verify the result and click OK to complete.
  10. Click Close to exit the operation.
